After we've been to Brisbane, we went to Newcastle. We could't wait to see the jackson's again! They went to the same church like we did.. Even though they came back to australia only in january, they've been always an important part of the church for us, because they were so present in the church life. I told you here about it. But before we arrived at there place, we went to some national parks, lookouts and a museum.
This is in the national park in Byron Bay. The park was really nice, and we could see a lot around.
The next national park had lots of waterfalls, which were beautiful. So was the rain forrest. We enjoyed the trail trough the park a lot. Did I tell you, that I lost my wedding ring? When we stayed at HCJB in Kununurra, my skin on the finger became ichy and the finger were swollen because of the heath. That's why I had to take it off often. Somehow, don't ask, how, I managed to lose the ring. However, I needed a new one and we decided it must be something typical australien - like an opal. We looked often for a good one and found it finnaly in Coffs Harbour. Just saying, to show of and so you can be happy with me. ;)
Newcastle is the biggest town close to the town were the Jackson's life. We went to a museum, which was a military station. I was very grateful for the jacked I recently bought - it was so, so very cold there!
We had a really good time with those wonderful people. They left Kununurra only one day before us and life now almost a month in Branxton. That's why they didn't knew lots to do and to see in this area. So we went together for a roadtrip to see all those "beautiful" colemines. :)
