After we left Litchfield, there was not much to see. Just a little bit, like the bitter springs in Matarenka, they were special! We couldn't see much more in Matarenka, because you need a 4WD to get further.
There was one good thing about the long drives: we had lots of time to talk with each other. Since we swaped during the drive everyone got the chace to build a closer relationship with the other. We are very grateful to be able to spend this intensive time with Daniel and Sofia.
When we arrived at the Tableland, where the Hadfield's and the Den's moved, we were amazed by the beautiful countryside. Everywhere are green hills, it's just so different to Kununurra. There are rainforrests which are home for so many kinds of animals. Hadfields invited us for dinner and to stay at there place over night.
|Dieser Ort hieß: windiger Hügel, ratet mal warum. This place is called "windy hill", guess why. ;)|
The next day we went to see some more places at tableland before we drove to Andrews working place. As the most of you know, he and his family left Kununurra a half year ago to work in the mission MAF. It was special for us to see, how this mission works and to meet the people, who work in the backround of this big work. But there was a huge surprise waiting for us!
Just before we arrived at MAF Andrew and his Mates fixed a problem on the exhaust of a plane. Because of the problem a pilot had to do a test flight and so they asked us, if we would like to join him. Of course we did! We feel very blessed we got such a special treat.
We meet the Den's at Kununurra Baptist like the Hadfields. It was so lovely to see them again and to spend some time with them. Aspacially the kids from both families surprised us. They are so loving, helpful and creativ! It's been a pleasure to see all of them again.
